Your engineers shouldn’t answer the same RFQ question twice.
Customer RFQs, supplier questionnaires and quality audits ask for specs, certifications and lead times you’ve already documented. Tribble answers them from your approved product and quality records, and sends only the new questions to engineering.
- 2.3Provide your ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 certificate and scope. QualityApproved answer, reused

The documents your customers send.
Grouped by who owns the answer. Every one draws on the same approved specs and quality records.

Three kinds of customer, three kinds of qualification.
Automotive and industrial
OEM customers qualify every supplier, then quote again for every new program.
- They send
- RFQs, PPAP requests, supplier questionnaires
- They check first
- Quality certifications, capacity, cost
Aerospace and defense
Primes pass security and export requirements down to every supplier.
- They send
- Supplier questionnaires, CMMC and ITAR questions, RFPs
- They check first
- AS9100, CMMC, export control
Process and materials
Customers compare specs, sustainability and supply security across suppliers.
- They send
- Technical questionnaires, sustainability surveys, RFQs
- They check first
- Specs, REACH and RoHS, lead times
One question, start to finish.
What happens to a single question when a supplier questionnaire lands.
The question
State the country of origin for each component, and any tariff classification changes in the last 12 months.
Example: customer supplier questionnaire, owned by your trade compliance lead
- 01
It comes in
The questionnaire arrives as the customer’s spreadsheet or through their supplier portal. Tribble reads every question and picks out the ones it has seen before.
- 02
Tribble drafts it
It matches the question to your approved origin records and drafts the reply by component.
Sourcetrade compliance origin records. Owner: your trade compliance lead. - 03
Only what’s new gets reviewed
One classification changed this year, so that line goes to trade compliance with the change marked. The rest go straight through.
- 04
It goes back in their format
The answers go back into the customer’s file, ready to submit.
What it looks like in Tribble Respond.

Reps who can answer the spec question on the call.
Tribble Engage answers reps in Slack or Teams with the approved spec and its source, so a rep who sells one product line can answer questions about another.
Tribble Scribe records the call, drafts the follow-up and updates the CRM.

@Tribble what’s the maximum operating temperature for the 400 series, and is it UL listed?
The approved 400 series datasheet lists the operating range and the UL listing number. Engineering last updated it in July.

Tribble answers from your own evidence for each framework. Tribble itself is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
It learns from the tools your team already uses.
Datasheets and certificates in SharePoint, past RFQs in Google Drive, engineering notes in Confluence and Jira, account history in Salesforce. Tribble connects to them and keeps each one’s permissions.

Why general-purpose AI isn’t enough for technical RFQs.
| Compare | Generic AI | Tribble |
|---|---|---|
| Answers from | Public data | Your approved specs and quality records |
| Specs and tolerances | Can be wrong or out of date | From the current approved datasheet |
| Certifications | Guessed | Linked to the current certificate and its scope |
| When a spec changes | Nothing updates | Update it once and the next response uses it |
| Review | Engineering checks everything | Only new or changed answers go to engineering |

FAQ
Common questions.
Can Tribble answer from our datasheets and quality records?
Yes. Tribble reads your specs, certificates, quality records and past responses, and every answer shows which one it came from.
We sell several product lines. Will answers get mixed up?
No. Answers are tied to the product line they were approved for, and each source keeps its permissions.
What happens when a spec or certificate changes?
Update the approved answer once. Every new response uses it, and answers that relied on the old version are flagged for review.
Does Tribble handle supplier security and CMMC questions?
Yes. Security questionnaires draw on your approved security documentation, and anything new goes to your security lead. Tribble itself is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
How is this different from a shared drive of old RFQs?
A shared drive stores files. Tribble knows which answer is current and who approved it, and sends anything it isn’t sure of to the right engineer.
Bring an RFQ that’s waiting on engineering.
Send a redacted RFQ or supplier questionnaire. We’ll answer it from your own material on the call, and show you which questions would go to engineering and quality.
